Paramount Surveyors currently provides secured lending advice to a number of national commercial mortgage lenders ranging from bridging finance providers to high street lenders.
The Company also regularly undertakes valuation instructions on behalf of national and regional firms of solicitors in respect of civil disputes (including professional and marital matters), criminal proceedings (including issues relating to requirements under Proceeds of Crime Act 2002), insurance companies and private clients (individuals and companies).
As a company, we do not undertake the valuation of those properties that require ‘an operational, on-going business valuation’, but we do carry out valuations of the same properties disregarding any additional value attributable to business goodwill, fixtures and fittings etc. (often referred to as a ‘bricks and mortar valuation’).
It should be noted that Paramount Surveyors does not undertake residential valuations or surveys unless for commercial lending purposes.
All valuations are carried out by employed RICS Registered Valuers with the Company itself being Regulated by the RICS also. The Company does not use consultants.
Paramount Surveyors operates under a valid Professional Indemnity Insurance policy that currently provides £2,000,000 cover (on a case by case basis).
Anthony Shaw is also a member of Expert Surveyors Group, a national provider of Expert Witness advice, through whom instructions can be taken for clients with properties across a wider geographical area than that provided by smaller independent firms on an individual basis.
