Paramount Surveyors Limited was established in 2007, since which time, it has become an established and respected provider of professional valuation advice to lenders, solicitors, insurance companies and private clients.
The company specialises in the provision of valuations for a wide range of purposes including secured lending, acquisitions, disposals, development appraisals, litigation, civil disputes and HMRC requirements.
Paramount Surveyors presently receive secured lending valuation instructions via the country’s leading commercial valuation panel management company, VAS Panel. Through VAS Panel, Paramount Surveyors are potentially able to undertake valuations on behalf of a large number of lenders from challenger banks to specialist bridging companies.
In addition to providing valuations on behalf of lenders and private clients, the Company’s Managing Director, Anthony Shaw MRICS, also undertakes Expert Witness valuations, with him having provided evidence in respect of both High Court and Crown Court cases in addition to mediation hearings and the Family Court.
Paramount Surveyors and all valuers employed by the Company, are Regulated by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The Company currently operates with professional indemnity insurance (PII) cover of £2 million on an each and every claim basis, subject to current RICS policy wording requirements.
The Company is based on the Shropshire / Staffordshire / Cheshire border and currently carries out secured lending valuations over a wide geographical area from Lancashire in the north to Gloucestershire in the south and the west Welsh coast across to Nottinghamshire in the east. In respect of private client instructions, the Company operates throughout England and Wales.

Anthony J Shaw
Managing Director
Anthony has over thirty years’ experience as a Chartered Surveyor and established Paramount Surveyors after working across a broad range of environments from local government to national surveying practices, with a period in industry for good measure.
A passion for providing a high quality valuation service to clients, with bespoke report templates for each, written in plain English without large amounts of generalised property data and unrelated national economic overviews, drove Anthony to establish Paramount Surveyors in 2007.
Anthony is responsible for ensuring that all reports are completed in compliance with not only the Company’s own high standards, but also both the individual requirements of the Client and the Regulatory Requirements and Standards of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Whilst carrying out valuations for clients, Anthony is also responsible for the day to day to management of the business.
Kim Shaw
Director
Due to her excellent interpersonal skills and longstanding relationships with lenders and brokers that have been established over many years, Kim is responsible for Client Management and ensuring a first class delivery of communication between the business and clients, corporate and private alike.
Kim can be contacted regarding pre valuation enquiries, obtaining valuation fee quotes and current availability for undertaking instructions. Kim is also the point of contact for clients who require updates regarding the progress with live cases.
